2026 marks the 10th anniversary of Empty Ensemble’s debut EP and album, and both releases get the reissue treatment.
String Quartet Song No. 5 previews the new mixes featured on String Quartet Songs, Vol. 1, which was originally given the Japanese title 弦楽四重奏曲其の一 (Gengaku Shijuusou Kyoku Sono Ichi.)
String Quartet Song No. 6, released as a double A-side with Penzias and Wilson’s debut single “Rescue the Fly”, rounds out the release.
The single arrives on Bandcamp and streaming platforms on Feb. 27, 2026.
